Start in beautiful Roaring Gap North Carolina and traverse 4.3 miles North on Hwy 21 until you reach the famous Blue Ridge Parkway. You will then run for 125 miles along the Blue Ridge Parkway, one of the most scenic places on Earth until you reach Hwy 128 and take the 5 mile climb to the finish line; Mt. Mitchell, the tallest peak east of the Mississippi River!

The race will be 135 miles long all on pavement, consisting of 17,000' feet of elevation gain. Each runner will be required to have a crew and support vehicle for the entire duration of the race. Runners are allowed to have a pacer starting at mile 40. Runners will have a total of 45 hours to complete the race. Each finisher will receive a iconic finishers belt buckle.
