Día de Los Muertos (DDLM) is a day in the year like no other. This deeply revered Mexican tradition provides a universal opportunity to celebrate our connection to loved ones passed on and the ancestors whose lives allowed ours to happen.
The DDLM Endurance Run celebrates the power of this tradition and each runner’s personal power and hard-earned endurance.
The staging area will be adorned with a special addition: an ofrenda (altar). Before starting their race, runners can visit the ofrenda to leave offerings that honor their ancestors and loved ones passed on. These offerings of photos, flowers, fruits, drinks, trinkets, and written messages provide runners the opportunity to add a unique layer of depth, gratitude, and purpose to their endurance run from start to finish.
The course is a single loop of mix trails and pavement - wheel measured at 3,856 meters in distance. Check out our website for more information about the course.
- All participants who successfully complete 11 loops will receive a Finisher Medal
- 100 Mile Belt Buckle for those who complete over 100 miles
- 50 Mile Belt Buckle for those who complete over 50 miles
