Stunning views and discomfort for those unlucky souls who choose to take part. This will be a point-to-point course of 100km (62 miles) with over 15,000 feet of elevation gain. Solo and 2-3 or 4 Person Relay Teams. Minimal aid. You are expected to be self-supported for long periods of time and distance. Individuals and relay teams will be challenged, in a sick sort of way. The trail is 85% single track and is as you find it. Trail is runnable at times and sometimes not. Scree and rocks, lots of growth, huckleberries, possible wildlife, some trees to go through, over or around. No water available from natural sources. Use of some Forest Service roads to connect single track. Relay Exchange areas are easily accessible.
