Double the Squatch, double the fun! Join us on Saturday March 9th and/or Sunday March 10th at Stokes State Forest for the DOUBLE SQUATCH! Perhaps the first event of its kind, the Double Squatch is a 2-day event where runners can test their limits and see how many miles they can cover in one or two days. Do you have what it takes to run for hours on Saturday and then come back and do it all again on Sunday??? This is a runner/hiker friendly event. Runners/hikers can sign up for one or both days
The 3.2 mile lollipop course has 350 ft of gain. There is a nice mix of double wide and singletrack trails. There is a .40 mi section in one of the climbs that is technical and may cause even the fast Squatchers to slow down a little.
