50K and 30K loops utilize Horse Gulch Open Space, Skyline, and Grandview Recreation Areas. The 50 mile will complete both loops, passing through the start/finish. Climb through dense pine forest to reach the top of the mesa with sweeping views of downtown Durango, the Animas Valley, and the La Plata Range.
