Runners will be running almost entirely on top of the mesa after climbing up to top in about 1 mile. The loop is about 8 miles with 2 aid stations. So you will run counterclockwise, 4 laps for 50K, 2 laps for 17 miler, and 1 lap for 9 miler. Elevation gain is about 300 feet per lap, initial ascent is about 380 feet. Parking will be at the bottom, porta potties will be at the top, your gears will be transported up there. After you finish, we can give you a ride down to the parking lot. You will love the scenery up there!
