The HINDSIGHT ULTRA race rules are simple.  The race has 4 divisions:

HINDSIGHT
BEER
HARD SELTZER
SPARKLING WATER
  

When the HINDSIGHT ULTRA race begins, sufferants (better known as race participants) will drink 12 ounces of either BEERHARD SELTZER or SPARKLING WATER. The bold and brave HINDSIGHT sufferants will drink 16 ounces of beer or hard seltzer.  After consuming the liquid, sufferants will begin the approximately 5ish mile loop that will bring them back to the HINDSIGHT ULTRA start.

After the first loop of HINDSIGHT ULTRA you have the option of continuing the race by drinking another 12 ounce beverage (BEERHARD SELTZER or SPARKLING WATER) or 16 ounces beverage (HINDSIGHT) and running another loop.  Or you can call it a day and claim your DNF.  DNF's are encouraged at HINDSIGHT ULTRA and we believe most sufferants will choose this option as the race begins to unfold.

To complete the HINDSIGHT ULTRA you must drink 12 or 16 ounces and finish the course loop 6 times.  Only those sufferants that complete all 6 laps with the 12 or 16 ounce beverage per lap will be given an official finish.  The completed HINDSIGHT ULTRA course will come in at 30 Miles with about 1,890' of gain.
