St. Johns, NL

The Joy Run 50 is an annual trail race and a commemoration event held in support of the Joy For Jody Foundation—a heartfelt tribute to the lives that have touched us deeply and to Jody Joy who died by suicide July 2019. As participants lace up their shoes and embrace the East Coast trail, they become a part of a larger narrative that aims to raise awareness about suicide prevention and mental health. Every step taken echoes the commitment to breaking the silence surrounding these vital conversations. Join us for an unforgettable experience that celebrates life and the enduring spirit of community.

Starting at Quidi Vidi Lake in St. John's, NL the course takes you around an easy flat terrain before heading into the East Coast Trail. Travelling along the scenic coastal terrain including Sugarloaf Path, Cobblers Path, Silver Mine Head Path, Father Troy's Trail and Stiles Cove Path before leaving the trail in Shoe Cove to return to the finish by road. Between each path section the course will include road segments.
