Come join SS Mountain Racing for the first year of Last Runner Running at the Olmstead loop parking lot in Cool California. Due to permits this years race will be limited to 24 hours. Ray Sanchez created a 6.46 mile loop that you will have one hour and 45 minutes to complete. Every hour and 45 minutes a new loop will begin. If a runner is unable to continue or misses the start of the next loop they are out. Wave starts will be utilized for COVID-19 social distancing and face coverings are required. The waves will be released in groups of ten every 60 seconds by bib numbers starting with 1-10 and so on. The wave starts will continue on each new loop for the duration of the event. There will be one aid station at the start/finish stocked with Bananas, oranges, candy bars, energy gels, water, soda, and much more. You are welcome to use your vehicle as an aid station as well if you plan to run the loops faster and have time to rest. There will also be a drop bag area we just ask that you don't hang out there to long for social distancing. Unfortunately this year we will be unable to allow spectators at the start/finish of Last Runner Running. Every runner will receive a shirt and the winners will receive a trophy (1 male / 1 female).Race start time is Friday June 11 at 6pm ending on Saturday June 12 at 6 pm. Every runner must have a headlamp with spare batteries. Bibs will be assigned and handed out the day of the event so show up at least 30 minutes prior to start. Sign up and find out how many loops you can do!
