Lysefjorden is a Norwegian fjord located in Forsand municipality in Rogaland county and is 42km long. Lysefjorden Inn Ultramaraton follows the grid to Stavanger Tourist Association and is at 62km and has a total of 2500 height meters. The race is arranged for sixth time on 2 June 2018 and is Rogaland hardest ultramaraton. The race is a distance run where the fastest backs the distance winner. The race places great demands on the participants, but is one experience you rarely get in one sports competition. The terrain is airy and spectacular. On the actual marathon day, it becomes quiet nature exchanged with heiarop, a contrast that often gives one Adrenaline, you will still have enough time to be alone with the mountain and the fjord. The course changes from running down the fjord to them highest mountain into the fjord. The runners want to see Norway most popular mountain - preikestolen. On others In the side of the fjord you will see Flørlitrappene as has the world's longest wooden staircase in 4444 three steps. Further in along the square you will look over to Kjerag with its characteristic Kjeragbolt. The race passes unique places like Hengjanenibbå (miniature of Pulpit) and abandoned farms like Bratteli and The hill that clings to the mountain side. Before you Coming in goal, the race will pass a big one water magazine, one of Norway's largest energy console light network.
