The course is almost 2 miles long that starts you off with an almost mile long run through the woods on Gypsy's trail. You will also run alongside a large field that was once pasture land to the cows that lived on the old Roberd's Dairy. The course continues down dirt fire roads that take you through open marshland and past a very old live oak affectionally known as the Sentinel that was also featured in the old film, Forest Gump. The wooded section of the course is single track, winds a bit and has several obstacles across its path that need to be hopped over as you run the course. There are several mounds you'll have to go over, including Mt. Dawn. The fire roads you will run on are unpaved dirt. The open marsh areas you run on are hardpacked sand.
