What could be better then Running Vertical in Vermont in the fall, hanging with running friends and family and camping at the race start the night before with a campfire dinner? Run it you won’t is a vertical endurance junkie’s ultimate challenge. See what you are made of in the 6/12/24 hours of Run it you won’t at Mad River Glen. Or run the taste of vertical 4 miler.
The course is a 4ish mile loop with 3,000ish feet of gain per loop. The loop starts at the base lodge and wanders to the top of the mountain seeking all the vertical we can cram in to each loop. The down hill descent will be as much fun as the climb up! Your calves, quads, and your whole body will thank you for each loop you endure. A water stop will be placed on the course, and a full aid station will be available at the Start/Finish. The aid station will have quality race food you find at endurance races including broth, ramen noodles, grilled cheese, bacon, chips, candy, water, soda, sports drinks, and more. Check out our website for full details (www.browndogstrailraces.com). Crew tents will be allowed near the start/finish aid station for runner support.
