The 25K and 50K distances will cover multiple loops of the single-track trails adjacent to the picnic shelter. This section does happen to be thickly wooded, have several streams with rock bridges to cross, and abundant wildlife!
The first section of the 5K course runs on the 5.2-Mile loop, prior to heading back downhill into the finish area to complete the 3.1-Miles . The 50K will consist of the main 5.2 mile loop, which will be covered six times. The elevation gain and loss per loop is approximately 566 feet (starting at 701 feet and climbing to 1267 feet per loop).
