This remote, high mountain, point to point & single-loop course with 98% single-track trails with 60% above 11,000' will take you on one of the most spectacular journeys of your life.  Start your morning off right, with the sounds of the Animas River at your side as the morning twilight tickles the cascading water.  At the same time, you run along the famous historic Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad in the narrow, deep Animas River Gorge. Enjoy this breath-taking stroll because it won't last for long! Breath-taking will take on a whole new meaning as you climb 2000 feet and enjoy some of the most spectacular views in the San Juans. Towering peaks, brilliant aspen leaves dancing in the breeze, and the fading Animas River as it cuts through the canyon below!!! Experience one of the most spectacular sections of the Colorado Trail, taking you through endless, majestic, rugged mountain peaks to deep old-growth forests, fields of wildflowers, crystal clear streams, and cascading waterfalls.

This majestic 60K course travels down the Animas River Gorge and climbs up and follows the most spectacular part of the famous Colorado Trail for 16 miles. This race starts around 9,400 ft in elevation and climbs up to 12,800 ft. This spectacular course that runs 11 miles of the famous Hardrock 100 course has 7,337 ft of climbing in 37 miles. You will be treated with amazing San Juan Mountain splendor, peak wildflower season, mountain streams and waterfalls. There is no better place to be than Silverton, Colorado!

Run 100 incredible miles in southwest Colorado through the spectacular San Juan National Forest. This course starts at the southern terminus of the Colorado Trail at Junction Creek trailhead just west of Durango and runs north towards Silverton along one of the most spectacular sections of this famed trail. Enjoy endless majestic views, abundant wildflowers, pristine mountain streams, and 98 miles of mind-blowing single-track trails. This course connects with the 100K race to circumnavigate the majestic Engineer Mountain and run 11 breath-taking miles of the Hardrock 100 course up Putnam Basin and down Bear Creek.
