The course is a road 5K with little elevation change. It consists of a single loop, starting and ending at the Wild Side Running Store. There is a bathroom available in the Wild Side Running store. There will be a small fire in the parking lot at night of the shoe store. During the day, there will be customers in the small plaza, so please be mindful.  

A soul survivor event is different than a typical race. It is not limited by either distance or time, rather by the willingness of runners to keep going - until both a Sole and Soul Survivor is reached. The race could end Friday night or continue well into Saturday or even Sunday. This is a Good Life City Runner event - all proceeds go to the non-profit group. There is only one winner. No second places, no age groups. 

You will have 45 minutes to complete the course. After 45 minutes, runners head back out for another lap. This repeats until there is one Soul Survivor. If you finish a lap in, for example, 30 minutes, you must wait until the 45 minutes has elapsed to start the next 45 minute 5K loop. Thus, all remaining runners start at the same time for each lap. It is irrelevant when you actually start your lap, only when you finish. If two or more runners head out for what turns out to be the last lap, the first one across the finish line on the final lap is the race winner.
