Ellerbe, NC
The course will start and finish in front of the Derby Community Building and it will be run in a counter-clockwise direction facing traffic. The turns and some straights will be marked with yellow arrows painted on the highway. It's your responsibility to look for them. It's 31.5 miles on 3 loops of rolling hills in a beautiful country setting on asphalt and dirt. It's a great event for those wanting to do their first ultra run. There is no cut off. This is a 31.5-mile fun run with no bells & whistles. The course is not closed to traffic. Derby Road is in the middle of nowhere but travelers use it to get somewhere.
