The EDDUM 2018 – A 50 Mile Challenge

Join us November 10th as we set-off to explore 50 Miles around the hidden gem that is... The Epynt Way!!! The mostly untouched permissive path loops around the Sennybridge Training Area, the third largest military training area in the UK... but have no worries, The MOD have made sure the area is safer than your own backyard! Keep your eyes peeled for the local mountain bikers, the experienced day hikers, the brute horses on the run and 1,000 shades of Green that take over your ocular cavities!

The remarkable history of the area will have you along unspoiled countryside that has changed very little over the past 500 years. With The Brecon Beacons to the South and The Cambrian Mountains to the North, the open countryside will fill your lungs with the freshest air, your eyes with remarkable sights and your heart with the passion to keep exploring!

The reason we've created The EDDUM was to tell the story of a forgotten community of Farmers and Their Families that were displaced as a result of The Second World War. Completed by The War Office in 1940, The Sennybridge Training Area (SENTA) saw 219 Residents from 54 Homes vacated... but not forgotten. More information - History of Wales
