New for 2021; we are no longer able to host relay teams due to logistics and COVID-19 restrictions/guidelines. Deep breath, we got y'all & are excited to announce we are moving to a two day trail running event that hosts 60KM on Saturday, September 25, 2021 and 10KM & 20KM on Sunday, September 26, 2021. Yay for a full weekend of trails and run!
The 60KM distance starts at Klahani Park in Salmon Arm and brings racers into the inviting South Canoe trail system where they will journey into the Larch Hills Traverse to experience a variety of ecosystems, each offering their own unique character. Through out the day, runners are rewarded with forests, fens, fresh single track and remarkable viewpoints overlooking Shuswap & Mara lake(s). The final decent brings runners down fast, flowing switchbacks and into unique private trails on Splatsin First Nation land. The finish line is a short jaunt on Old Spallumcheen road and into the impressive lake front Hyde Mountain Golf Resort. The 60KM distance is a point to point event; racers will have the option to 'add on' shuttle for travel back to Klahani Park or have the option to secure their own means of transportation
