Welcome to the Timberjack Ultramarathon and trail carnival. This race is graciously approved and permitted within the Deschutes National Forest. Experience the Trail Running Capital of North America! Ponderosa and lodgepole pines line the course as you roll along ancient volcanoes and the Deschutes River valley. Start and finish along the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway in the shadow of the majestic Mount Bachelor.

The Timberjack is sanctioned, insured, and holds all applicable permits. No part of this is half-assed. A portion of the proceeds from this event is donated to the Central Oregon Trail Alliance (COTA) who build and maintain the awesome trail systems here in Bend. https://www.cotamtb.com/

The 30k features 2000+ ft of elevation gain over a single-loop course, and the 100k features 6000+ ft of gain on a two-loop course starting and finishing at the Wanoga Sno Park and passing the Deschutes River valley. 

The course is a championship caliber, romping tear mostly downhill in the first half and mostly uphill in the second half. The middle is rolling to flat. All but two miles are on single track.

CUTOFF will be 12:00 Midnight (18 hours, approx. 17:10 per mile).
