Welcome to Three Sisters Skyline. Stunning courses with amazing views of the Three Sisters and other high Cascade peaks of Oregon. The 50K takes you to the edge of the Three Sisters Wilderness, running amongst Ponderosa Pines, remnants of a forest fire that occurred in 2012 where regrowth is occurring, alpine meadows and a picturesque mountain stream. Both races will finish right in the heart of Central Oregon's idyllic mountain town - Sisters.
Views. Views. Views. This race has incredible views from all areas of the course. The first 9.3 miles is a slow steady climb of ~2000ft to AS1 - just outside of the Three Sisters Wilderness - with views of the Three Sisters right in front of you. You then return - with a descent to AS2 (which was the start) that continues on to the finish! There is 2900ft of climbing with 4000ft of descent making for a fast 50K. 95% of the course is on single track trails. There are 3 fully stocked aid stations.
