Race Name: Ukili Category: Trail Location: Mbeya & Njombe-TANZANIA (EAST AFRICA) Race Date: 23 September 2018 ?Ukili?: shorten for Eastern Arc Mountains of Uporoto, Kipengere and Livingstone Ranges, the race will start at Chimala then passing through Mountain Ranges of Ukili later finishing at the Lake Nyasa shore in Kyela District. This is the one great off-road course in Tanzania, the race offers relaxed atmosphere with a unique way to explore the most beautiful sceneries of Southern Highlands of Tanzania like Kitulo National Park and numbers of Mountain ranges, participants will running in beautiful and inspiring parts of the world that remain as Mother Nature with the dose of fresh air wilderness experiences .The Trial set to include Female and Male in four variety of courses, environments and distances, runners can choose what distance want to achieve in a number of hours of non-stop event:- 1. 164 Kilometer (102 miles), Trail Ultra XLong (XL) 2. 109 k + 55 k Relay- Trail Ultra XLong (XL) & Trail Ultra Medium (M)* 3. 109 Kilometer (68miles)-Trail Ultra XLong (XL) and 4. 55Kilometer (34 miles)-Trail Ultra Medium (M)** *Relay Team and Single runner for 164 Kilometer will start at Chimala Mbeya with the steeper hill passing through Matamba then crossing Kitulo Plateau National Park, from Kitulo the runners will face a long downhill to Isange Mwakaleli, then go to Lake Nyasa through Masoko in Busokelo and Ipinda in Kyela. **55Kilomiter will start at the north of Mwakaleli in Isange Village and go down to Lake Nyasa ,Second Relay Team member will take turn at Isange area and complete remains distance of approximate 55 kilometer.
