The Vagamon Ultrail is an ultra trail marathon organized by Soles of Cochin, in the hills of Vagamon, the only one of its kind in Kerala.  Vagamon Ultrail offers two categories in the 2019 edition - 60 Kilometers & 90 Kilometers.  

60K - The 60K run starts at Orchidarium and is a point to point course taking runners through the most beautiful locales in Vagamon while still posing enough challenges for a regular marathon runner.  The course takes you through different terrains and will finish at St. Thomas LP School Pullikanam.  The course will have a cumulative elevation gain of 2100m.  

90K - The 90K run will start at St. Thomas LP School Pullikanam and take the reverse of the 60K until Orchidarium, and then take a different route on return to the finish line.  90K will finish at where it started and will have an elevation gain of 3300m.  

Considering all challenges on the course and tricky weather in Vagamon, the participants must meet the following criteria for their registration to be accepted:

1) You must be 18 years of age or older before January 05, 2019

2) You must have completed (or will complete) a Full Marathon (42.195Km) in 05:30 hrs between January 1, 2018 & November 30, 2018. 

OR

You have completed (or will complete) an Ultra Marathon of 50 Kilometers or more within the cut-off prescribed by the respective race organizers, between January 1, 2018 & November 30, 2018.
