RACE INSTRUCTIONS

The course is marked in Black and Yellow arrows mostly on trees. There will also be orange landscape paint on the ground. The course is a 10 mile loop.

A couple notes about trail at around ½ mile, almost as soon as you enter the woods, you will pass the back of people’s property. The last house has two loud large dogs. They are contained by a hidden fence, we have seen it in action, and they cannot come out to you. Just run right by.

Around mile 6 you need to cross over a stream. There has been a bridge here in past years but weather damage has made the bridge unsteady. Please take caution as you go over the bridge or rocks to get to the other side.

For the last mile of trail you pop into a neighborhood and run on streets. Just before getting to the main road you pop back in the woods on your left and come back to the school.

It is likely you will see wildlife. In the past people have seen bears, snakes, bees, hawks, deer, small critters, etc. please be careful.

There is a small aid station with water and some food at mile 4. There is a water only unmanned station at mile 7. We will see you at mile 10 of every loop back here at the School. You have to come all the way back to the school to cross the timing mat even if you don’t want aid.

IF YOU STOP RUNNING MAKE SURE YOU TELL RICK OR JENNIFER. We need to know if you are off the course and you need to return your timing chip. If you do not return the chip, you will need to replace it. The replacement cost is $110.

There is a full aid station at the Start Finish area.

There are port a johns at the Start Finish area.
